Rare Vintage Suffolk & Ipswich British Fire Brigade Chief's Uniform Epaulet Strap Insignia - Excellent Showcase Condition for the Collector.
High gloss, fabric is very old but in good condition. The end button is engraved Gaunt London on the back. Item was part of my father's collection for over 50 years -- unsure of exact age. Shoulder board is 5-1/2" long by 2-1/4" wide at top, tapering to 1-3/4" wide. Insignia wreath is 2" wide, largest button is 1" wide, smaller buttons are 10/16" wide.
