    Description

    Antique original U.S. Model 1873 Bayonet.  Measures 21" overall with a 3" socket.  Blade shows much original bluing with some scattered light pitting spots. Ricasso marked: "US/F".  The socket end area shows some pitting and some metal loss just a bit on the edge, a bit less than half. The ring does not have the screw on it and has some damage markings to it. Should still usable since you have to lock it into the barrel, just needs a screw to tighten.   See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
