    Description

This is a highly unique and colorful Victorian Era Militia (?) Musician's Uniform Tailcoat probably from the "Indian Wars Period" to the "Turn of the Century" (1870 - 1910) Era.
It has a complete set of matching but unmarked ball buttons and a label from the famous uniform maker "Lilley-Ames Co, Columbus Ohio".  It could be from a State Militia group or a Civilian Band.
In all my years collecting IWP Era uniforms I have never seen another as striking.
One things is certain...this specimen will add marvelous character and variety to any Indian War Period uniform display.
It displays honest, by not really noticeable, wear.
The interior tail material has been replaced with a somewhat flashy material.
You are welcome to make a reasonable offer on this uniform.
